Soft suspension is ideal for bumpy roads, it'll save your car from damage when it comes to off-road potholes like the ones you're seeing. It'll also give you a comfortable ride at low speeds, but it will have handling issues at higher speeds and won't be as stable. Maybe Jeep will offer the Wrangler and pickup variants a suspension drive selector.

Maybe they were testing the front sway bar disconnect system as well? I think that was standard on the rubicon.

That's actually a great point that you bring up and something I wish you will be wrong on because one of the last things I want to see is them make suspension more complicated then it is thus raising prices of these. But if it done in a way thats cost effective then I won't mind

Drive selectors are pretty common these days and even some pretty affordable cars have them, but not as advanced as off-road, mud, etc. Shouldn't be too hard for Jeep to program a few more in there.

In a newly leaked image from the Toldeo plant, it looks like the new Wrangler will have some small air vents behind the front wheel arches and body colored door hinges. We'll most likely see the same changes on the new Wrangler pickup as well.

There are hood vents as well, something we usually see with higher end trims like the Chief, but it could be a standard feature in the new Wranglers.
