Have you driven the JK? It's a pretty firm ride. Stock tire sizes of 225/75/16 for the base 16x7 rims. Many people find it uncomfortable, and it's even worse with the bigger knobbier tires. Very different from the regular SUVs.

Not expecting SUV comfort, if I wanted that I'd have gone with a Buick. Just something that won't break me on long rides. Probably softer shocks and different tires if necessary.

I have and always liked JK's for regular city use for that same reason its probably one contributing factor for its large city presence on top of being cool. These JL's are said to get a reworked suspension so we should expect better aside from tires.

The latest spy shots shows a set of Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires, though I assume that's just one of the offerings Jeep has in store. I took the liberty of comparing the spy tires to what's on Goodyear's site and the tread looks slightly different. Not quite sure if that's the next iteration of that tire model.
